Our Story
DREAM Inc. was built on faith, resilience, and the belief that one act of encouragement can change a life. What began as a small effort to give back has grown into a movement dedicated to uplifting individuals and families across underserved communities. Since our founding in 2014, DREAM has touched thousands of lives throughout Hillsborough, Manatee, and Pinellas Counties—empowering people of all ages through mentorship, education, wellness, and community support.
Our reach extends beyond the classroom. Through partnerships with the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, Pinellas County Schools—including Melrose Elementary School, Creekside Charter School, and Manatee County Schools—we’ve implemented transformative programs such as the DREAM Mentoring Program and the Child Allowance Program (C.A.P.), which reward academic excellence and good citizenship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Manatee County provided a grant that enabled us to distribute essential items and resources to families in need, reinforcing our commitment to serve and uplift the entire community.
Our work wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our partners and sponsors, including Papa John’s, Walmart, and the Department of Juvenile Justice in Pinellas County, whose generosity helps us sustain our mission. Together, we’re bridging gaps, creating opportunities, and helping people heal, grow, and thrive—building stronger minds, stronger families, and stronger communities.

Aaron D. Nettles is the founder of DREAM Inc., a best-selling author, and an experienced educator with over fifteen years in teaching and school leadership. He holds graduate degrees in Educational Leadership and Health Promotion, blending academic excellence with a passion for personal and community growth.
From classrooms in Memphis to leadership roles across Florida, Aaron has dedicated his career to helping people reach their potential—mind, body, and spirit. Grounded in faith, family, and service, he leads DREAM Inc. with a mission to develop, refresh, and empower all minds.
