About us
Our Story
DREAM Inc. was born from humble beginnings and a deep desire to give back. Our founder, Aaron D. Nettles, grew up surrounded by challenges—but also by people who believed in him. From a high school football coach who saw his potential to dedicated teachers, friends, and family who offered guidance and encouragement, the power of mentorship and support significantly impacted Aaron's journey. After earning multiple degrees and serving over two decades in the school system—as a teacher, coach, Behavior Specialist, and Dean—he saw firsthand the gaps in opportunity, guidance, and resources many students face, especially in under-served communities. Those experiences fueled a vision: to create a platform to provide the same life-changing support he once received.
In 2014, that vision became a reality with the founding of DREAM "Developing, Refreshing, & Empowering All Minds" Inc. Today, DREAM stands as a bridge, connecting youth, families, and international communities to educational programs, mentorship, leadership development, and global opportunities. Rooted in real-life experience and built on a foundation of faith, service, and resilience, we continue to write our story—one empowered mind at a time.
A.D. Nettles M.Ed. M.S.
Aaron D. Nettles is the founder of DREAM Inc., a best-selling author, and seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching and school leadership. He holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida, a Master’s in Health Promotion from the University of Memphis, and a Bachelor’s in Physical Education from the University of West Alabama. He holds a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate with certifications in Physical Education (K–12), Elementary Education (K–6), and Educational Leadership (All Levels).
In 2004, Mr. Nettles began his career with Memphis City Schools and has since worked at Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Manatee County Schools in Florida. His roles have included teacher (K–12 PE, Elementary Education, 7th Grade ELA), Football Coach, Behavior Specialist, and Dean of Discipline. With a deep commitment to faith, family, and community, he leads DREAM Inc. with a passion for empowering minds and transforming lives.
